yeah, that lake is only 20 min away from me. I like to fish it when I am looking for big eyes. The mid summer mid lake reef bite can be really good. Also in the spring up the river can be a good place to fish as well. Big body of water with lo'ts of rocks, I would like to fish it more and get to know it better.

yes it must be huge, as it took us about 30-40 mins by skidoo too get across, at a point called sturgeon weir, a river, our guide jimmy custer rents his cabin out for 150.00 a night
and there was 4 of us so we split the costs, it was worth every penny he even helped fillet our catch, were gonna try and go there at least 1 time a year, we brought along our satellite
radio for music and then we brought out a guitar and sang songs, nice to get away from it all
just forget about work and the non stop bills lol, just drill a hole kick back and wait for the walters to bite, i was thinking 'now this is living'......lol.

is his cabin right on the river? I would be somewhat surprised if you could snowmobile on the river, cause I go up there in the summer and fish at the base of the falls in June/early july and there is pretty good current going through there. I am thinking of where the river runs into the lake over on the west side.

Maybe it is where the river runs out of the lake, south west corner??
