fished all day monday on two trout lakes and the fishing was fantastic. everyone caught a grand slam, brookies, splake, browns and rainbows. the total count was probably pushing 100 fish. it was cold and the wind was blowing but it was well worth toughing it out!!.

the biggest was maybe 19" or so biggest brookie was 15". lost a brown that was easily over 21". the spalke and rainbows all averaged 16"-18" but it was hard to keep them off. never thought i'd see so many double headers when trout fishing, hopefully a sign of things to come closer to home, and hopefully the big northerns have turned on for this weekend at besnard.
