I am trying to track down the photographer. I have had someone suggest on another
forum that this is an altered photo, that we don't have these numbers of moose on
the prairie but personally I have never seen so many moose since I have been
working in this area.

I put in for the draw in this area but didn't get drawn, but I did get drawn for back
home. Thing is, back home which is more traditional moose territory, I haven't seen
as many moose in 13 years as I have down here in a year and a half. :?

Was just talking to the rig boss and he said he saw 15 bull moose come out of a 20 acre
patch of bush in the middle of this prairie.

I deer hunt down around souris and hartney Mb. This year I saw 37 moose and I only saw 17 deer! Yeah there is getting to be more and more moose in the southern regions for sure. Mind you there is a lot of bush where I am hunting deer but still I can't believe how the moose have taken to the agricultural areas.

I went moose hunting up around flin flon for 4 days and only saw one cow, it is just different up here, very very thick bush and one is stuck on the trails or the lakes, so that means likely running into other hunters, very much a luck game up around here.
