Hi everyone. Was wondering how the ice off is progressing up around Athapap? We are unseasonably warm out West, everything here is open and fishable (altho still closed...!).

Would appreciate any info.

Try earthdata.nasa.gov/labs/worldview

They take a pic of the world everyday! I fish Athapap, so that's the only one I zero in on. That being said....the ice look VERY dark as of yesterday. I love to see the ice melting when we get there, but it sure is reassuring to know it is gone so we can fish.

Enjoy!

Sidenote- I'm from Nebraska(hence the name), and the smoke from the Alberta forest fires is/has been so thick down here. Last year it was the Sask fires. The smoke hangs in the air and looks like it does on the 4th of July. Crazy stuff!
