What can a guy say about this but WOW!!!!!!! Imagine catching that hog on a rod. To bad it won't live to be caught another day but each to their own. Crazy size of fish. One day I will have a replica like that on my wall.

no problem. the commerical fishing on reindeer lake has been good to me over the years with repairs, hauling equipment and supplies. it is nice to see it first hand on how the fish is caught and shipped south to the USA. plus i get some fish out of the deal too.

I bet, I like to come up and fish one day and like to check on your friends lodge there and rent a boat there as well and spend 3 or 4 days fishing Reindeer I don't want to haul my gear up on that road

Heck take your boat. The boat you seen me with at reed has been up that road 6 trips. No real issues, but do not mistake yourself it can rough. With this we never went the last stretch but am guessing it is not much different then the rest of the road.

The stretch from Lynn Lake to Kinoosao is actually quite different from the one from Thompson to Lynn. First, it's all gravel. Second, it's really slow going. And last, it can be pretty rough. It's about 60 miles and, pulling a boat, I don't see anyone doing it in much less than 2 hours. That said, I did it this year and it's doable. Just come prepared.

yes all gravel and when we go we do 30 miles of that stretch. Always seemed to me to transitions from hard road to whatever it is between Leaf Rapids and Lynn are the worst. I will add that from Lynn on them big trucks can put a scare into you, they are traveling in a manner you have to think they are paid by the mileage and not the hour.

the Kinoosao Rally Road was in great shape this year even through the fish haul. it had a lot to do with all the rain we are getting so it is keep the road tight. i only had to pull the loaded fish truck out once this year when it became stuck in the sand. the fish plant works enjoyed having the King of Obsolete show up in the Screaming Ford that is featured on Ice Road Truckers. we all got photos around the truck at 3am in the morning under the street light.
right now we are hauling pop and chips to the barge also loading and unloading the semis with supplies for brochet. having a big boat and barge makes life easier in brochet.
